Just blow out the candle with all eyes on you- no pressure kid!

I’ve already told you I how much I love our new marina. Last weekend, something special happened here that made me love it even more.

Jack, the smallest crew member aboard s/v Corpse Pounder, turned one. And our little community came out in force to celebrate this momentous milestone with an afternoon pool party in our collective backyard.

It was a day filled with games, food, rum punch, splashing boat kids, and lots of chatter with friends old and new. Jack had just taken his first steps, and he wanted to be everywhere. His parents are in for a busy year, chasing him around the decks of Corpse Pounder! Before they know it, he’ll be trimming the sails.

It was such a fun day, I neglected to take photos until it was almost time to cut the cake. Happy birthday little man! Thanks Jen and John for organizing such a great fête – we all loved being part of it.
